The Flight of India - Swami Vivekananda
Updated: Aug 18, 2022
Ideas and ideologies create an identity, as study history and spiritualism as a whole, including rationality above all. This quality of not settling down with pure philosophy but understanding its implications on the land of India is very important. I'll present the ideas of the man behind the movement of knowledge amidst Indic socialism, Swami Vivekananda. Note that understanding him on the basis of these quotes would just be a blatant assumption.
#1 It's better to play football on the field than to read Gita in one corner of the room.
This form of an ideal human mindset makes the world, especially the youth, a stage of change. In a world of idolatry, we all should pledge to reflect his ideas and the manner of work ethic he carried, for which he attains international attention. He cared for play and action, than just idol worship and reading.
#2 The who worships life does the duty to the Omnipresent
The value of life is not the quantification possible by humans. However, humanitarian services offered to the people and animals in exchange for no return, is said to be blissful for one's karma. In rational terms, it is having empathy.
#3 The very essence of education is the concentration of mind. Education is the manifestation of the perfection already in a human.
We are born with innate goodness, be it morally or socially. It is the upbringing and the education which shapes a person accordingly. Sure, genes have a contribution to the character building, but the innate character is unlocked or achieved through knowledge. We must learn to learn, and know to use our knowledge for reality.
DO NOT LET PROPAGANDA FOOL YOU. DO NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING, TAKING THE TRUTH FOR GRANTED. A rational mind and an open mind, which questions, is always necessary for the world. Read and re-evaluate, and spread knowledge, which great personalities like Swami Vivekananda had written prior to our existence, in the history of India. This makes India, culturally and morally, great again.
