Team Script Productions is proud to announce a proactive approach that has been taken for the youth and audience of the country who have a shared, immense love for art, film and culture. Our aim for the fifth chapter of the Calcutta Youth Meet is to provide a stage for aspiring and ambitious individuals of India to display their talents on a bigger stage, with exposure to the industry they take interest in. The last year has been a trainwreck, to say the least- seeing how eventful and confining it was for everyone. A refreshing comeback into the energetic experience of a youth fest is probably the push that Under-25 people of India need to return to less dormant schedules.
Script Productions is the pioneer of “CALCUTTA YOUTH MEET” which is one of the most recognized events in Eastern India. After 4 successful years of Calcutta Youth Meet, we are here with the first ever Offline youth festival in Eastern India after the Pandemic.
This year, our spirits have not been dampened. The pandemic can go on, but at Script, we will never fail to come back with CYM annually. Calcutta Youth Meet: Chapter-5, 2021, will be held at Gyan Manch, on 9th October 2021, with the theme of Durga Pujo in presence of eminent personalities like Rwitobroto Mukherjee, Suragana Banerjee, Riddhi Sen and other notable personalities of Tollywood Industry. From Street Play, Treasure Hunt to Battle of Bands, Miss Calcutta and Fashion Show there will be tough competition for the winning crown. Through CYM, participants will be able to not just discover more of their preferred ambition, but also meet individuals who are masters of that field- our judges.
We are sure that it is going to be a fun, fruitful experience and is going to offer a learning environment for those who wish to pursue any of the arts in their future. We look forward to enthusiastic participation and establishing the spirit of rediscovering and bringing glory to art, culture and sportsmanship. Brilliant individuals with astonishing talents are often not given the opportunity to express themselves in front of a large audience- we here at Script are here to make your dreams come true!
What’s in this year’s CYM??
LITERARY ARTS
The competitions under Literary Arts are- Creative Writing, Slam Poetry, Team/Individual Quiz, Newsroom Debate and Corporate Lunch. This event highlights literature through various competitions and aspires to send out a message of creating and embracing an atmosphere where individuals use words to express and even fight for themselves; since the pen is mightier than the sword.
FINE ARTS
The term "fine art" refers to an art form practiced mainly for its aesthetic value and its beauty ("art for art's sake"). Fine Arts provides an array of competitions, namely, Mandala Art, Monochrome Illustrations, Poster Making, Pride Makeup and Face Painting- for the youth of the country to enjoy and freely express themselves. Fine Arts aspires to encourage people into letting their art express their views and opinions.
PERFORMING ARTS
Performing Arts is an event under CYM-5 that focuses on establishing one's ideas through gestures and movements that require physical presentation. Performing Arts consists of 2 Minutes to Fame, Western Band, Team Dance, Street Play and Fashion Show- that allow performers to bring out their colors and show everyone their talent and grace. Performing Arts wishes to give participants a platform to showcase their innumerable and astonishing talents, and give them an opportunity to perform in front of those who have mastered those fields.
INFORMALS
Informals is an event under CYM-5 that focuses on different aspects of creativity and art through the events like Miss Calcutta, Beat Boxing, Treasure Hunt, Photography and Freestyle Rap Battle. This event contains the most prestigious event, the highlight of Calcutta Youth Meet – Miss Calcutta. These are the up-and-coming “trendy” and influential competitions that are extremely amusing and a great way to bond with teammates and friends, and meet new people.
The Script Productions team is constantly growing to impart opportunities to talented individuals and making dreams come true by providing them with a platform to showcase the same with events organized. With time we aim to nurture leaders and accredit personalities to influence the world to the best of our abilities. We at Script Productions believe that today’s youth has the true potential to get to the bottom of all the concerns across the globe. Script aims at empowering the youth in order to make the future better than the present by creating a platform to polish themselves, alongside giving them an opportunity to earn while they learn through the training programs.
The Youth of the Nation are the active change makers, of present and of the future. Calcutta Youth Meet, the most well recognised event of Eastern India, focuses on bringing the young geniuses at one place, for a collective and progressive meeting, of cooperation, competition, and learning from the field experts.
