BloodConnect Foundation, in association with NSS Durgapur and CCA NIT Durgapur, recently organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at NIT Durgapur campus. The event
was held on 4th February 2023, and it witnessed a remarkable turnout from the students and staff members of NIT Durgapur. It was organized to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and to encourage people to donate blood.
The camp was supported by three blood banks - each from Vivekananda Hospital, The Mission Hospital, and Bidhan Nagar SD Hospital. The event was a great success, with a total of 189 units of blood being donated. It was a testament to the power of community-driven initiatives and the impact that they can have on people's lives.

The blood donation camp at NIT Durgapur Campus, was a joint effort by BloodConnect Foundation, NSS Durgapur, and CCA NIT Durgapur. NSS Durgapur is a community service organization that aims to promote social welfare and community development. CCA NIT Durgapur is the largest and oldest technical club of NIT Durgapur, that aims to promote cultural exchange and foster community building.
